Owner Transaction Types

The Owner Transaction Types can be used as the general ledger or chart of account. The transaction type is assigned to each transaction to create bookkeeping reports and annual  statements. The system has a number of predefined types available, these cannot be deleted or modified, however, new transaction types can be created.

Overview

To access this screen, go to:

  1. Global Settings > Software Settings Assistant
  2. Navigate to 'Owner Transaction Types' from the drop-down menu

To create a new transaction type:

  1. Click the "Plus" icon to add a row
  2. Type in the category field
  3. Press "Save"

Try to prevent creating duplicate transaction types, as then two separate reports would need to be generated.
