Formally, 'Owner Account Categories,' transaction types can be used as the general ledger or chart of account. The owner transaction type is assigned to each transaction on the owner statement to create bookkeeping reports and annual statements. The system has a number of predefined types available; these cannot be deleted or modified, however, new types can be created.
To create a new type,
- Click the "plus" icon above the table
- Enter the description or name of the transaction type in the row
- Click the "save" icon
